Brian Parker Solo Exhibition Inspires

‘The Journey So Far – It’s All About Me’ – Royal Opera Arcade Gallery – Monday 7th October – 12th October

It could be fair to say that artist Brian Parker is a Jack of all trades when it comes to anything that involves creative imagination, from dance to singing and painting. Now, the public will have the opportunity to view Parker’s works as part of this exhibition at his first ever solo show, entitled ‘The Journey So Far – It’s All About Me’ at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery in London.

However reaching this point did not come easy for Brian and his artwork is his way of showing that no matter how difficult life can get, it is possible to transform your life and follow your passions in life.

One thing that is certainly clear about Parker’s art is that it presents a physical reflection of his life’s adventures. The linear precision and sharp edges connect with his career history in engineering, the abundance and intensity of colour acknowledges his creative mind and the subject frequently featuring isolated figures and overlooked surroundings can be likened to his desire to reconnect with himself.

Whether you find meaning in the art or are simply breath taken by the striking visual aesthetics, there is an inherent point to Parker’s achievement as an artist, which is that it is possible to overcome adversities in life and turn the experience into truly positive life achievement.

You can view Parker’s art work from Monday 7th October – Saturday 12th October 2019, Private View Tuesday 8th October 2019 at the Royal Opera Arcade (ROA) Gallery, 5b Pall Mall, 1 & 2 Royal Opera Arcade, London SW1Y 4UY. Free to Attend.
